Booking Policies

Deposits & Booking

  • A mandatory $25 non-refundable deposit will be charged upon booking and applied to your appointment total. If you cancel or don’t show, the deposit will be forfeited. If I need to cancel your appointment for any reason, you’ll have the option to reschedule within the same month only.
  • Please check your email immediately after booking for further details.
  • You must book through this website. If you have questions or would like guidance on what to bring to your appointment, please feel free to call 313-695-5952 prior to booking.
  • If the exact nail style you want isn’t listed, please select the closest service and describe your desired style during your appointment.

 

Appointment Confirmation & Communication

A confirmation email will be sent immediately after booking and will include access to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Changes must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time in order to defer your appointment to a new date and time within the same month. Deposit deferment is permitted one time only and must be used within that same month. Failure to provide the required notice, including no-shows, will result in forfeiture of your appointment, and 75% of the total cost of booked services will be automatically charged to the original form of payment used at the time of booking.

Reminder emails and text messages will be sent prior to and 24 hours before your appointment. Please be sure to list your correct contact number.

The exact appointment location will be provided via text 4 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.

Appointments may be scheduled up to 14 days in advance, which is two weeks, but all appointments must be made at least one week, which is seven days, in advance.

Only one reschedule will be honored using your original deposit.

 

Payments

  • Cash is preferred, but all major debit and credit cards are accepted. There’s a card processing fee, and this policy may change. NO CASH APP. If there’s ever a card or payment method I can’t accept, I’ll let you know ahead of time.
  • The remaining balance is due in cash. Please have your total ready, and if needed, feel free to visit an ATM before your appointment. You may also pay with the debit or credit card you used to book. The balance must be settled before any polishing or design begins—right after your hands are prepped. If the balance isn’t paid in cash at that time, I’ll need to process the remaining amount using the card on file.

 

Repairs, Adjustments & No Refund Policy

Repairs or adjustments must be reported within 24–48 hours (2 days) of your appointment. If an issue is identified within this timeframe, a correction may be scheduled at no additional cost, based on availability. After 48 hours, any repairs or maintenance will be considered a new service and will be charged accordingly.

Please note that all services are final, and refunds are not provided for any reason. If you are dissatisfied, reasonable adjustments may be considered at the time of service or within the 24–48 hour window. Changes in preference, design, shape, or length after your appointment are not considered errors and will require a new booking.

 

Late Policy

  • A 15-minute grace period is allowed. After 15 minutes, your appointment may be canceled or adjusted based on remaining availability. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service to maintain the schedule, and full service charges will still apply.

 

Service Interruptions (Power Outage Policy)

In the event of a power outage or unforeseen service interruption, you will have the option to reschedule your appointment at any time with no time frame limitations or receive a full refund. If a service has already begun, any resolution, including rescheduling or partial refund, will be determined based on the portion of the service completed.

 

Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • In the event that you need to reschedule, a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required. When rescheduling within this timeframe, your deposit will be deferred to the newly scheduled appointment date and time within the same month only. Deposits may be deferred one time only. Rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit and future appointment booking. No-shows will not be eligible for rebooking without a new deposit. Failure to provide the required 48-hour notice, including no-shows, will result in forfeiture of your appointment, and 75% of the total cost of booked services will be charged to the original form of payment used at the time of booking. In extreme circumstances, exceptions may be considered. In such cases, please contact D’LITEFUL NAILZ® at 313-695-5952; a final decision will be rendered.

 

Guests & Children

  • To preserve the V.I.P. ambience of this experience, no extra guests or children are permitted unless they are being serviced. Please plan accordingly prior to your appointment.

  • Please come with bare nails unless a removal service has been booked.
    I do not go over other nail technicians’ work. New clients must arrive with clean, intact, bare, healthy nails to be serviced (absolutely nothing on your nails).
    • Be sure to review all booking details carefully prior to your appointment.

 

Timing & Scheduling

  • Please arrive on time to ensure your full service can be completed as scheduled.
    Late arrivals may result in a shortened service or cancellation, depending on availability.
    • Please do not arrive early unless confirmed by D’LITEFUL NAILZ®.
    • Your appointment time is based on the service selected at the time of booking.
    • Please plan accordingly for your appointment, as time is reserved specifically for you.
    • Timeframes for nail styles are general estimates and may exceed the expected duration. Your patience is expected and appreciated.
    • For special occasions or events, booking the earliest available appointment is strongly recommended. Booking services on the same day as a flight or high-intensity event is not advised.

  • Service times may vary depending on nail condition, length, and design complexity.
    All pricing is subject to change based on service details and final design.
    Additional designs or changes requested at the time of service may not be accommodated.

Safety Tips

  • Please inform of any allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions, or nail concerns prior to your appointment.
    • Services will not be performed on nails or skin that are infected, inflamed, broken, or swollen, or show signs of fungal infection, such as discoloration (yellow-green streaks), thickening, or brittle, crumbling nail plates.
    • Avoid cutting or aggressively pushing cuticles before your appointment to help prevent sensitivity or injury.
    • Proper aftercare is essential—keep nails clean, moisturized, and avoid using them as tools to maintain longevity.
    • It is recommended to wear latex-free gloves when performing household chores, especially those involving water, to help protect the health and longevity of your nails.
    • If you experience any discomfort, irritation, or unusual reactions after your service, please seek appropriate care.
    • Regular maintenance and timely fills are recommended to preserve the health and appearance of your nails.
    • It is recommended to avoid shaving your legs at least 48 hours prior to a pedicure, as shaving may cause microscopic abrasions that increase sensitivity and the risk of irritation or infection during your service.
    • For optimal comfort and safety, shaving is best done after your pedicure. If you have already shaved, please inform your technician so that extra care can be taken and certain treatments, such as exfoliating scrubs, may be adjusted or avoided.

 

  • Only scheduled appointments are permitted during service times. No walk-ins will be accommodated.
    Absolutely no children or pets are allowed.
    • Children 13 years and older may be dropped off for services without an adult, with prior approval. A parent or guardian must receive approval by contacting D’LITEFUL NAILZ® at 313-695-5952 or by meeting directly with the nail technician.
    • Children 12 years and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times, unless otherwise approved by D’LITEFUL NAILZ®.
    • Face masks are optional. However, if you are feeling unwell, please be considerate and reschedule your appointment.
